Description and Justification: Padlet is a virtual wall that allows people to express their thoughts on a common topic easily. It works like an online sheet of paper where people can put any content (e.g. images, videos, documents, text) anywhere on the page, together with anyone, from any device. According to course 2453 . there is a project to create own page which include different information and researches about a specific country. My country was ( Indonesia ) and I collect information from different resources to designed my page with clear data and evidence . This was the first page I created in padlet website. In semester 7, we designed and made a Padlet blog for LSG 2453 Course of Global Media Trends. My Padlet page presents an over look of lots of information about Indonesia Media Trends supported with evidence, statistics, visual information and links for references. My page is fulled of general information beginning from the location, area size, population, and then expands with describing the political media system and kinds of control on media there, ends with discussing social media issues that happening in Indonesia. Doing this Padlet requires deep research that improved my searching skills through weeks on searching and collecting data from professional reference.

Science Experiment - Volcano
Description and Justification:
In semester 2, I planned for an experiment lesson, so I chose a lesson about volcano. Firstly, I summarized specific information that kids will need to learn, then I simplified these information in points and presented a PowerPoint document. After the lesson I explained the experiment procedure for my colleagues (as they was my fake students). I designed and created the one volcano for each group. I added real leaves on the model to give reality and naturally look. All my classmates were excited and motivated to do the experiment and pour the liquid in the hole to have the explosion. I thought the kids will be even more curious and excited in the class for this lesson, Teaching Competencies: related to the Monitoring and Assessment, this activity helps :

reflection :
I realized that learning by doing is more effective and motivate students even if these students are adults. Students and teachers get bored from lecture lessons, because of that active lessons with excited activities break the routine and motivate students for effective learning, Experiments also lead learners to seek for finding the missing information and solve problems. It develop as well the discussion skills and communication skill for them. As a teacher, I should follow the 5 E's (engage, explain, explore, elaborate, evaluate) or planning for science lessons to have best results of students' understanding. |
