By the end of TP year 4 from February 07th , 2016 until March 15, 2017 I will plan and gain insights to Using positive reinforcement to manage student behavior in the classroom.
Core Objectives for Goal 3:
effective management is the key factor to a positive classroom environment. effectiveness of positive reinforcement is a method of Management. Managing student behavior help teachers maintain a successful positive learning, keep students organized and safe the time of the lesson. Positive reinforcement is a very powerful and effective tool to help mold and change behavior. It works by praising and rewarding desired behavior which make positive reinforcement work best in a teaching environment. For me as a teacher I used to encourage students using positive reinforcement because my aim is to create a positive active environment and increase their achievement(HCT Teaching practice booklet , 2016). and learning standard and decrease the misconceptions which will affect the lesson if there is a week management.

I recommend this is an effective live strategy which let mothers to see what happened during the classroom. In this strategy, I communicated with the mothers, through WhatsApp Application and conducted them with the latest news about their daughters. that would help to challenge them becoming better into higher levels and let them see their achievements and their developing. Because I’m toking a photo of them and their work during the lesson and videos and share them via WhatsApp to the mother’s group. This strategy made my own rules and routines and helped me move smoothly between a lesson to another without losing students focus. from the students mothers I can gain a lot of recommendation and suggestion which will help to improve learners level . It’s also related to the teaching competency.

I chose the oral feedback to encourage student to feel free to answer and developed there speaking skills. It’s an effective traditional praise which gave the learner a safety through the lesson time which teachers and increased their level. Because younger learner love to be admired. Then, I chose a new strategy which was student of the week .
In this strategy, I chose students each week in Sunday from one of the 2 Sections that I taught to be the star of the week. The student should be a participated during the lesson, helpful, respectful and collaborate with friends. In addition, she should be trying to improve her self during the classes and use only English to talk. I chose the students depending on her score and caring of the subject. My MST & I met together to choose the star between the girls .

I ended my TP by honor the best students in the assembly. I chose this strategy to thanks a best pupils in both sections for their caring and assiduous .
This strategy showed a Professionalism and Understanding and display a high standard of professional behavior, which includes punctuality, personal organization.

Goal Three Evaluation :
I think one of the most difficult parts of being a teacher is the classroom behavior management.
As a teacher, it is my responsibility to maintain harmony and the process of learning in the classroom because Classroom management is the process to maintain appropriate behavior of students in classroom settings. The purpose of implementing classroom management strategies is to enhance prosocial behavior and increase student academic engagement, establishes and sustains an orderly environment in the classroom., increases meaningful academic learning and facilitates social and emotional growth and decreases negative behaviors and increases time spent academically engaged. I created some strategies to limits a misbehavior during the lesson and it went well.
